Purina is passionate about pet nutrition and producing the highest quality food and treats for dogs and cats.  In order to fulfill their mission and meet increasing demand, Purina expanded and upgraded their local facility. 

The flooring in food processing facilities is critical to the success of the company.  The floors must be extremely durable to eliminate the need for repairs causing costly shutdowns.  It also must be sanitary and easily cleaned to maintain the quality of the food produced.  

Treadwell Solution

Treadwell installed an industrial urethane cement floor for Purina’s new facility. The floor is seamless and antimicrobial which assists Purina in their mission to produce the highest quality food.  It also is tough, holding up to steam & industrial cleanings. 

Benefits

The heavy duty urethane cement floor with aggressive texture adds traction in wet areas. Additionally, the cementitious flooring expands and contracts with the concrete during temperature changes, making it impervious to thermal shock.
